Xiaomi is set to unveil a successor to the Mix Fold 4 later this year, likely named the Mix Fold 5 or Xiaomi 17 Fold. Recently, it was identified in the Mi Code database, and a new leak has disclosed important specifications and pricing for this next-generation foldable device.
Tipster Digital Chat Station shared insights on Weibo, indicating that the upcoming prototype features a flexible 7.5- to 7.6-inch display equipped with ‘seamless-crease’ technology.
Xiaomi Mix Fold 4According to the leak, the Xiaomi Mix Fold 5 will come with a substantial battery capacity of approximately 6,000mAh, along with support for wireless charging.
It is also expected to showcase a 200MP camera, full water resistance, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Furthermore, Xiaomi is reportedly developing a custom in-house Xring chipset for this device.
Lastly, the tipster estimates that the Xiaomi Mix Fold 5 could be priced around CNY 10,000, which is approximately $1,400.
