Samsung has begun the internal testing of One UI 9 for the Galaxy S25 series smartphones. This follows the release of two Android 17-based One UI 9 beta updates for the Galaxy S26 series, including testing for the upcoming Galaxy S26 FE.
While the specific build version of One UI 9 being tested on the Galaxy S25 series is not yet disclosed, anticipation is high for the first public beta release in the coming weeks.
Samsung revealed that the new folding smartphones will be the first to ship with One UI 9 pre-installed. This year, the company plans to unveil three foldable models: the Galaxy Z Flip8, Galaxy Z Fold8, and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, with rumors suggesting a launch event on July 22 in London.
