Last year at the Le Mans 24-hour race, Peugeot showcased its E-208 GTi concept, the hot hatch designed for the electric age. Now, nearly a year later, the brand is set to introduce the full production version.
The official unveiling will take place on Friday, June 12, at 1 PM Central European Time, during the Le Mans event. Peugeot assures that the production vehicle remains "extremely faithful" to the concept introduced last year.
According to the official press release, the design is crafted in France, showcasing "French charisma and iconic GTi style, blending sportiness and elegance in unique harmony."
For those curious about the production E-208 GTi, Peugeot promises "unique driving pleasure, a sporty yet elegant design, and exceptional versatility," infused with elements of "modernity, fun, and technology." The company confidently claims that its performance figures are "intended to WOW."
