Oppo Developing A-Series Smartphone with Impressive 10,000 mAh Battery

According to a recent rumor from China's Digital Chat Station, Oppo is developing a mid-range A-series smartphone equipped with an impressive 10,000 mAh battery. The yet-to-be-named device is also expected to feature a large flat LTPS OLED display with a "1.5K" resolution.

Specifics about the chipset remain undisclosed, though it is said to be built on a 4nm process. Given the nature of the A-series, it is unlikely to house a high-end system on a chip (SoC). Speculations on Weibo suggest it may utilize the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, a Snapdragon 6 series SoC, or potentially the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 or 7400.

We anticipate that forthcoming leaks will reveal the specific chipset selected by Oppo. In terms of physical attributes, the device is expected to feature a plastic body and have a starting price of around CNY 2,000, which currently translates to approximately $295.
