CAD-based renders of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8, which has reportedly been renamed from Galaxy Z Fold8 Wide, were revealed back in March. Recently, a hands-on video showcased a dummy unit of the Fold8, offering a clearer view of this wide foldable smartphone. The device was also spotted in the wild, and new images now show the dummy units of both the Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra side by side.
These images do not present any new information; they primarily illustrate how both foldable models compare in design. The taller device, previously known as the Fold8 and now likely renamed Fold8 Ultra, features a triple-camera system on the rear. In contrast, the shorter device, referred to as Fold8, has a dual-camera setup but boasts a wider folding screen with a 4:3 aspect ratio.

It is important to note that while the rear panels of both smartphones appear whitish in these images, previous posts by source Ice Universe showed both devices in blue. It remains unclear whether these are distinct colors or if the blue hue appears differently under varying lighting conditions.

Additionally, Ice Universe indicated last week that the display creases on both the Galaxy Z Fold8 and Fold8 Ultra will be as minimal as those on the Oppo Find N6.
