Who among us anticipated that Apple’s first foldable would adopt a wide-style design rather than the more popular book-style or flip format? This innovative choice is evident in a photo shared by Ice Universe on Weibo.
This decision aligns with prior leaks we’ve seen, including dummies and CAD schematics that indicated its dimensions: 120.6 mm in height and 167.6 mm in width when unfolded. When closed, the device is expected to measure 9.23 mm thick, increasing to approximately 13 mm when accounting for the camera island.

The image also highlights one of the two colors available: Silver and Navy Blue. Notably, Apple is opting out of vibrant color options for their inaugural foldable device, and it will feature only two camera modules as opposed to a third.
The Apple iPhone Fold is rumored to be on schedule for a September launch, which would position Apple among the top three manufacturers of foldable devices in the market. However, consumers should brace for a premium price point, with estimates around $2,000, and initial supply may be limited.
