Recently, dummy units of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra have surfaced in side-by-side comparison photos, providing further insights into their design. Initially known as the Galaxy Z Fold8 Wide, the device was officially renamed during its development. A hands-on video debuted the Fold8 earlier, showcasing its wide foldable design.
These latest images don’t unveil significant new features but illustrate the design differences between the two models. The taller device, now known as the Fold8 Ultra, is equipped with a triple-camera system on the back. In contrast, the shorter Fold8 includes a dual-camera setup but boasts a wider folding screen with a 4:3 aspect ratio.

Interestingly, while the rear panels of both smartphones appear whitish in these images, other posts from the same source, Ice Universe, indicate they could actually be blue. It remains uncertain whether this is due to different lighting conditions or if the two units come in different colors.
