
Asus has officially announced its return to the tablet market with the launch of the new Asus Pad. This announcement follows recent rumors hinting at the company's plans.
The Asus Pad boasts a 12.2-inch dual-layer OLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz, a 3:2 aspect ratio, 600 nits of brightness, and a resolution of 2,800 x 1,840 pixels.

Powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8300 chipset, the tablet features 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and offers storage options of up to 256GB via UFS 3.1. Additionally, a microSD card slot allows for storage expansion.
A robust 9,000mAh battery provides energy, supporting 45W fast charging. Users will enjoy a quad-speaker configuration with Dolby Atmos support and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port, all running on Android 16.

For photography, the Asus Pad features a 13MP rear camera with an LED flash, while the 5MP front-facing camera is designed for selfies and video calls. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
Weighing in at 523 grams and measuring 6.5mm in thickness, the tablet is crafted from a magnesium-alloy chassis combined with a fiberglass rear panel.

Pricing and availability details have not yet been disclosed by Asus. The tablet will support the Asus Pen 2.0 stylus and an optional Bluetooth keyboard, with a protective case included in the box.
