Samsung is actively rolling out One UI 8.5, the latest version of its Android skin, which first appeared on the Galaxy S26 family earlier this year. After a beta testing phase that lasted until early May for older devices, the company has been busy releasing the update to an increasing number of handsets in recent weeks.
Samsung Galaxy A54
As of today, the 2023 Galaxy A54 is the latest model to receive the One UI 8.5 update, although it is initially limited to South Korea, where the device is marketed as the Galaxy Quantum 4. Despite the different name, it shares the same model number and is essentially the same device.
The One UI 8.5 version being rolled out in Korea is A546SKSUGFZE2. Typically, once an update is released in Korea, users can expect it to reach other markets within about a week, assuming no significant issues arise during the Korean rollout. This should also hold true in this case.
