In September of last year, vivo introduced the Y500 in China. Now, the company is preparing to launch three global versions of the Y500, identified by model numbers V2627, V2634, and V2635, which have all received certification from the Bluetooth SIG.
This certification confirms that all three models support Bluetooth connectivity; however, the reason behind the existence of three distinct handsets under the same Y500 name remains unclear.
The Bluetooth SIG has also approved the vivo V70 Lite 4G, a device previously certified by the FCC in early May. It is expected to join the expanding V70 family very soon. The V70 Lite 4G is equipped with an 8,000 or 8,100 mAh battery and will feature options of 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
