Redmi unveiled the Turbo 5 in China back in January and has recently started teasing its launch in India. Following a series of promotional teasers, the company has officially confirmed the phone's launch date in the country.
According to an announcement on Amazon India, the Turbo 5 is set to launch on June 16. The promotional material emphasizes that this smartphone is the fastest Redmi model to date.
If the Indian version of the Redmi Turbo 5 mirrors its Chinese counterpart, it will feature the Dimensity 8500 Ultra SoC.
In China, the device is equipped with a 6.59-inch OLED display boasting a 120Hz refresh rate, a substantial 7,560mAh battery with 100W fast charging support, and a 50MP primary rear camera.
