This week, Xiaomi launched the 17T series, which includes two new smartphones priced €100 higher than their 15T predecessors. However, they come with significant upgrades.
The Xiaomi 17T now boasts a 50MP periscope camera with 5x optical zoom, enhancing its capabilities with features like 30cm macro shots and 10x lossless zoom. This is a notable improvement from the previous 2x lens. The camera setup also includes a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 32MP selfie camera.
In terms of size, the 17T is slightly smaller than the 15T, featuring a 6.59” 12-bit 120Hz OLED display. Thanks to Silicon-Carbon technology, the battery capacity has increased to 6,500mAh, which is 1,000mAh more than the 15T. The device supports 67W charging with a HyperCharge adapter and 50W with a USB PPS adapter. Additionally, reverse charging allows you to power other devices at up to 22.5W.
