Google has a history of device leaks, and the latest addition is the prototype of the Pixel Watch 5, which has been discovered at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean. The design of the device has been revealed ahead of its official launch through images shared by Randy Pitchford, co-founder of Gearbox Software, known for the Borderlands franchise.
According to Pitchford's post on X, the watch was found during a scuba diving session near the Caribbean island of St. Martin. He noted that while the wearable had enough reserve power to display the time, its main battery was depleted (a pun intended). Visually, the Pixel Watch 5 closely resembles its predecessor.

The back of the watch features several markings indicating key specifications. Among these is the IP68 ingress protection rating, which has effectively protected the watch’s internals from saltwater damage. Additionally, the markings confirm that the Pixel Watch 5 retains the same 45mm size as the larger Pixel Watch 4.
Further specifications include a heart rate sensor, an ultra-wideband (UWB) chip, a pulse sensor, SpO2 monitoring, and skin temperature tracking. Notably, it’s rumored that the Pixel Watch 5 may come equipped with a custom Tensor chipset, as opposed to the Qualcomm Snapdragon chips used in previous models.
