vivo S60 Series Launches: 6.59-Inch AMOLED Displays & Massive 7,200mAh Batteries

The vivo S60 series has officially launched in China, featuring two models: the vivo S60 and the S60 Vitality Edition. While both share similar specifications, the S60 is equipped with a more powerful chipset and a 3x telephoto camera.

Each device sports a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,750 x 1,260 pixels (1.5K) and a 120Hz refresh rate. vivo claims a peak local brightness of up to 5,000 nits in HDR scenarios. Both models also feature a 50MP front camera and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.

The S60 is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, with configurations offering up to 16GB RAM and 512GB of storage. In contrast, the Vitality Edition is equipped with MediaTek's newly released Dimensity 7500, providing 12GB of RAM and similar storage options.

On the back, both models boast a camera layout reminiscent of the iPhone 17 Pro series. They include a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide camera, with the regular S60 additionally featuring a 50MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.

Both devices are powered by a robust 7,200mAh battery with 90W wired charging capabilities and boast an IP68 and IP69 rating for ingress protection. The operating system is OriginOS 6, based on Android 16.

The vivo S60 and S60 Vitality Edition will be available in three color options: Starry Sea, Early Summer Green, and Midsummer Night. Both models will go on open sale in China starting June 3.

The pricing for the vivo S60 Vitality Edition begins at CNY 2,899 ($428/€366 converted) for the 8GB/256GB variant, with the top model priced at CNY 3,499 ($516/€442 converted) for the 12GB/512GB option.

As for the vivo S60, it starts at CNY 3,599 ($530/€454 converted) for the 12GB/256GB configuration, reaching up to CNY 4,399 ($689/€555 converted) for the 16GB/512GB variant.
