Oppo has officially launched the Reno16 series in China, comprising the Reno16 and Reno16 Pro. Both models feature an impressive camera setup that includes a 200MP main lens, a 50MP 80mm telephoto lens, and a 50MP 16mm ultrawide lens, along with a 50MP front-facing selfie camera. The primary differences lie in their displays, chipsets, and battery capacities. The Reno16 boasts a 6.32-inch display, powered by the Dimensity 8500 Super, and packs a 6,700mAh battery with 80W wired charging. On the other hand, the Reno16 Pro features a larger 6.78-inch display, utilizes the Dimensity 9500s, and is equipped with a 7,000mAh battery offering both 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.

Both devices are available for purchase in China, starting from CNY 3,499 (approximately $515) for the Reno16 and CNY 4,499 (around $660) for the Reno16 Pro, both in their 12/256GB configurations.

The RedMagic 11S Pro made its global debut this week, featuring a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Elite Leading Edition processor with a primed core clocked at 4.74GHz. This powerhouse is augmented by a RedCore R4 gaming chip, an active cooling fan, a vapor chamber, and liquid cooling technology. It houses a generous 7,500mAh battery with 80W charging capabilities.

The RedMagic 11S Pro is slated for release on June 9, starting at €799 ($849/£709) for the 12/256GB variant.

Additionally, Xiaomi unveiled the 17T and 17T Pro smartphones. The 17T offers a 6.59-inch 144Hz AMOLED display, powered by the Dimensity 8500-Ultra chipset, along with a 6,500mAh battery that supports 67W charging. The camera system, developed in partnership with Leica, includes a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP 5x periscope telephoto lens, and a 12MP ultrawide lens. The 17T Pro enhances these specs with a larger 6.83-inch 144Hz AMOLED display, the Dimensity 9500 chipset, a 7,000mAh battery supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless charging, and a larger main camera sensor.

The starting price for the Xiaomi 17T is €749, while the 17T Pro begins at €899, both of which were announced on May 28 and are now rolling out to global markets.

The 17T model features the Dimensity 8500, while the 17T Pro upgrades to the Dimensity 9500 and includes a larger 1/1.31" sensor in its main camera.

Moreover, vivo has introduced the Y600 Turbo equipped with a remarkable 9,020mAh battery with 90W charging support. It sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED display at a 144Hz refresh rate, runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset, and features a 50MP main camera paired with a 2MP depth sensor. The front of the device holds a 16MP selfie camera, with a starting price of CNY 1,999 (around $275/€240) and slated for launch in China on May 31, available in Black, Silver, and Blue color variants.

In other news, a leaked case for Apple's anticipated foldable iPhone has reinforced speculation about its design, featuring a book-style foldable form factor, a vertically aligned dual-camera setup on the back, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a cover display akin to existing foldable models. Reports suggest the iPhone Ultra (Fold) could debut late this year or early 2027, potentially retailing for around $2,000.
