Geely's premium brand, Lynk & Co, launched its latest mid-to-large-sized electric sedans on May 29, 2026. Known as the Lynk & Co 10 series, this new addition aims to capture the competitive premium market. The lineup features two models: the standard "10" designed for everyday premium driving and the performance-oriented "10+" for enthusiasts.

To celebrate the release of the new series, the automaker has introduced a limited-time promotional pricing strategy. The base 701 Long Range Max of the standard Lynk & Co 10 series starts at RMB 183,900 ($27,100), but during the promotional period, it is available for RMB 169,900 ($25,000). The 701 Long Range Ultra, initially priced at RMB 189,900 ($28,000), is offered at RMB 175,900 ($25,900) during the promotion. The longest-range single-motor variant, the 816 Ultra Long Range, has a standard price of RMB 205,900 ($30,300) but is being sold at RMB 191,900 ($28,200) during the launch phase.

The dual-motor Lynk & Co 10+ models are designed for high performance, with the AWD Sport variant priced at RMB 233,900 ($34,400), reduced to RMB 219,900 ($32,300) for early buyers. The premium AWD Racing variant is typically priced at RMB 249,900 ($36,800) but is available for RMB 235,900 ($34,700) during the promotional period.

Visually, the new models feature a distinctive styling approach dubbed "The Next Day." The front fascia boasts a sporty bumper inspired by the brand's TCR touring race cars, while an innovative active air intake grille optimizes aerodynamics. All models measure 198.8 inches in length, 77.4 inches in width, and 57.8 inches in height, with a wheelbase of 118.3 inches. The high-performance 10+ model enhances its aesthetic with lightweight 21-inch forged wheels, high-performance Brembo brake discs with four-piston calipers, and Michelin PS tires.

Inside, the cabin features a premium layout inspired by a design concept known as "Morning Light Rhythm." It includes a 12.7-inch digital instrument cluster and a 25.6-inch augmented reality head-up display that projects key information onto the windshield. The center dashboard is equipped with a 15.4-inch touchscreen powered by an advanced 8295 processor and runs the updated Flyme Auto 2 operating system. The interiors are designed for comfort with four "Zero-Pressure" seats, the front ones offering heating, ventilation, and massage features. Audiophiles will appreciate the robust 23-speaker sound system delivering a total of 1,600 watts of power.

The rear-wheel-drive variants are available with two single-motor options. The base motor produces 300 kW (402 horsepower) and accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 5.9 seconds. The more potent variant boosts output to 370 kW (496 horsepower), achieving the same speed in just 5.2 seconds while delivering a maximum driving range of 507 miles on the China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle.

A standout feature of the 900V high-power variant is its impressive charging speed, which outperforms the much-publicized Flash Charging technology from BYD. With a compatible ultra-fast charger, the battery can charge from 10% to 80% in just 5.5 minutes; the lower-power version completes the same cycle in a respectable 10.5 minutes.

The dual-motor Lynk & Co 10+ boasts a powerful all-wheel-drive system with an output of 680 kW (912 horsepower) and 673 lb-ft of torque, allowing it to sprint from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.2 seconds. However, this performance comes at the cost of maximum driving range, which drops to 333 miles per charge. To manage this power, the entire lineup is equipped with a front double-wishbone and rear multi-link independent suspension system, controlled by a continuous variable damping setup.

Lynk & Co divides its advanced driver-assistance systems into two packages based on the vehicle trim. The basic package is the G-ASD G-Pilot Haohan H5 system, utilizing an Nvidia Orin-Y processor chip capable of 200 TOPS, paired with a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor for autonomous navigation on highways, city streets, and complex parking facilities. The premium models upgrade to the G-ASD G-Pilot Haohan H7 suite, featuring a heavy-duty Nvidia Thor processor that delivers 700 TOPS and an onboard multi-modal large language model for enhanced road environment comprehension and hazard prediction in real-time.

Despite the impressive technology and features, the launch of the 10 and 10+ series occurs during a challenging time for Lynk & Co's sales performance. In April, the brand recorded sales of 12,533 new energy vehicles, a 17.6% decrease from the same month last year and a 4% decline compared to March. Additionally, fully realizing the rapid 5.5-minute charging capability may be difficult for early adopters, as BYD has established numerous fast-charging stations across China, while Geely's deployment of ultra-high-output charging stations has been comparatively slower, with limited public charging locations offering the necessary electrical output to maximize the new sedan's charging potential.
