The vivo S60 series has officially launched in China, consisting of two models: the vivo S60 and the S60 Vitality Edition. Although they share most specifications, the S60 features a more powerful chipset and a 3x telephoto camera.

Both smartphones are equipped with 6.59-inch AMOLED displays boasting a resolution of 2,750×1,260 pixels (1.5K) and a 120Hz refresh rate. Vivo claims that users can achieve peak local brightness of up to 5,000 nits in HDR scenarios. Additionally, each device includes a 50MP front camera and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
The S60 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. In contrast, the Vitality Edition utilizes MediaTek’s new Dimensity 7500 chip, offering 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.
On the rear, the S60 series features a camera design reminiscent of the iPhone 17 Pro series, with both models housing a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide lens. The standard S60 also includes a 50MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
Both devices are powered by a substantial 7,200mAh battery with 90W wired charging capabilities and feature IP68 and IP69 ingress protection ratings. They run on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.
The vivo S60 and S60 Vitality Edition are available in three color options: Starry Sea, Early Summer Green, and Midsummer Night. They will go on open sale in China starting June 3.

The S60 Vitality Edition has a starting price of CNY 2,899 ($428/€366) for the 8/256GB configuration, and it goes up to CNY 3,499 ($516/€442) for the 12/512GB variant.
The vivo S60 starts at CNY 3,599 ($530/€454) for the 12/256GB model and can reach CNY 4,399 ($689/€555) for the 16/512GB option.
