Meta has announced the global launch of subscription plans for Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. The company is also preparing new plans tailored for Meta AI users, creators, and businesses, set to debut soon.
The Facebook Plus and Instagram Plus subscriptions are priced at $3.99 per month, while WhatsApp Plus is available for $2.99 per month. Meta clarified that these subscription options will be offered alongside the existing Meta Verified program.
Subscribers of Facebook Plus and Instagram Plus will benefit from several exclusive features, including advanced Story insights like rewatch counts, the capability to create unlimited audience lists beyond the current Close Friends option, and the ability to extend Stories beyond the standard 24-hour duration.
Additionally, subscribers will have the option to preview Stories before posting, search through Story viewer lists, and post directly to their profile without displaying these posts in followers’ feeds. Other enhancements include Super Heart animated reactions for Stories, custom app icons, customizable fonts for profile bios, and support for additional profile pins.
On the other hand, WhatsApp Plus will introduce features such as custom ringtones, new app themes, more pinned chat options, extra sticker packs, and enhanced list customization features.
