Renders and key specifications of the upcoming HMD smartphone, dubbed the HMD Grand, have recently emerged online. Reportedly, the device will be equipped with the Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 chipset.
The leak indicates that the smartphone will feature a 6.9-inch LCD display boasting a 90Hz refresh rate and Full-HD+ resolution, positioning the HMD Grand as a budget-friendly 4G option.

Leaked images showcase the device in attractive Flora Blue and Titanium color variants. Notably, the phone is designed with relatively thick display bezels and a distinctive bottom chin.
In terms of photography, the HMD Grand is projected to house a 50MP primary rear camera along with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor contained in a rectangular camera module. The front-facing camera is also expected to be a 50MP unit, ideal for selfies and video calls.

According to the leak, the smartphone will be powered by a substantial 6,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. Additional expected features include dual speakers, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and dual microphones.
On the software side, the HMD Grand is anticipated to ship with Android 16 pre-installed and offer two years of OS updates along with three years of security patches. The device is expected to come in 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB configurations.
