Xiaomi made a series of exciting announcements today, unveiling several new smart wearables including the Smart Band 10 Pro, Watch S5, Buds 6, and Sound Play speaker.
The Smart Band 10 Pro, previously known as the Mi Band 10 Pro in China, has been available for over a week. While global users receive the Smart Band, Chinese consumers will refer to it as the Mi Band.

Aside from the name, the new wearable closely resembles its predecessor, featuring a 1.74-inch display with a refresh rate of 60Hz and 16.8 million colors. It has improved brightness, peaking at 2,000 nits compared to 1,200 nits in the previous model.
The battery capacity remains at 350mAh, promising similar durations as before—up to 21 days with light use, 15 days for normal use, and 8 days with always-on mode.

Weighing just 21.6 grams (28.7g for the ceramic model), the new band is slightly lighter and thinner while maintaining its durability.
Xiaomi claims that the health sensors have been completely revamped, featuring a dual-light PD sensor and upgraded sleep detection algorithms, sticking to their commitment to innovation.

Xiaomi also launched the Watch S5, a successor to the 2024 Watch S4. It boasts a marginally larger 1.48-inch AMOLED touchscreen housed in a stainless steel frame and boasts impressive battery life with an 815mAh capacity, promising up to 21 days on a single charge compared to 15 days of its predecessor.

Despite the battery enhancement, Xiaomi has reduced the device's thickness by 1mm compared to the Watch S4, while retaining standard features such as health and activity tracking, dual-band GPS, and 5ATM water resistance. It is available in Black, Silver, Ceramic Blue, and Jungle Green.
The Buds 6 offer notable improvements over the previous model, featuring a new 11mm triple-magnet driver for enhanced sound quality. They also support Qualcomm aptX lossless audio with a bitrate increase to 2.1 Mbps from 1.2 Mbps.
Noise cancellation has also seen enhancements.

The new Buds 6 showcase a "biomimetic curved design," making them lighter and slimmer than their predecessor while improving comfort with an increased contact area and better airflow.

Xiaomi also introduced the Sound Play speaker, designed for easy music playback through voice control.
Boasting an 18W output and weighing 415 grams, the Sound Play is IP68 rated for water resistance, making it beach-friendly, while offering up to 14 hours of playback time.

The Sound Play supports TWS pairing, allowing two speakers to play simultaneously, and can connect up to 100 devices through Auracast.
Aesthetically, the Sound Play features a pleasing design with a bottom ambient light ring that matches the speaker's color options—orange, blue, green, or purple—along with an infinity mirror light element in the bass reflex chamber.

The pricing for these devices starts at €80 for the Smart Band 10 Pro, going up to €100 for the NFC and Ceramic Edition. The Watch S5 is priced at €179, the Buds 6 at €120, and the Sound Play speaker at an appealing €50.
