Vivo T5 Launches with Impressive 7,200mAh Battery and IP69 Rating

A new smartphone from Vivo has been quietly introduced in Mexico. The Vivo T5 is a budget-friendly 4G device powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 chipset. One of its standout features is the impressive 7,200mAh battery.

The Vivo T5 4G features a 6.75-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an HD+ resolution.

Under the hood, the smartphone is equipped with a Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 system-on-chip, complemented by up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

The powerful 7,200mAh battery supports 44W fast wired charging, and Vivo claims it can deliver up to 45 hours of video playback on a single charge.

On the rear, the Vivo T5 4G is designed with a squarish metal camera module housing a 50MP primary camera alongside a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, the device includes a 32MP front camera.

The smartphone runs on Android 16 with OriginOS 6 pre-installed. Additionally, it features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, IP68/IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance, and stereo speakers.

In terms of connectivity, the Vivo T5 supports dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, dual SIM functionality for 4G, NFC, an infrared blaster, and a USB Type-C port.

The Vivo T5 4G is currently available for purchase in Mexico, offered in Black and Gold color variants. The price for the sole 8GB/256GB model is set at MXN 5,799 (approximately $335).
