Xiaomi has unveiled the 17T series this week, which includes the 17T and 17T Pro models. Priced at €100 more than the 15T predecessors, both devices come with significant upgrades.
Starting with the Xiaomi 17T, the phone now boasts a 50MP periscope camera with 5x optical zoom and a focal length of 115mm, comparable to its Pro counterpart. This upgraded camera enables 30cm macro shots and 10x lossless zoom, enhancing the photographic capabilities from the previous model’s 2x/46mm lens. Alongside the telephoto, the camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 32MP selfie camera.
The 17T is more compact than its predecessor, sporting a 6.59-inch 12-bit 120Hz OLED display. Thanks to Silicon-Carbon technology, the battery capacity has increased to 6,500mAh, representing a 1,000mAh upgrade over the 15T. The phone supports 67W charging with a HyperCharge adapter and 50W via a USB PPS adapter, alongside reverse charging capabilities at 22.5W. For detailed performance evaluations, check out our review.
