Xiaomi held a launch event in China today, introducing the highly anticipated Xiaomi 17 Max, alongside two other standout devices: the Xiaomi Band 10 Pro and the company’s first clip-on wireless earbuds.
Xiaomi Band 10 Pro
The Xiaomi Band 10 Pro succeeds the Smart Band 9 Pro from 2024, boasting several enhancements that include advanced health tracking sensors, more reliable sleep monitoring, and a newly introduced cycling mode.
Equipped with a new dual-light PPD sensor, the Band 10 Pro promises heart rate accuracy of up to 98.2%. Additionally, it features support for sleep heart rate variability (HRV) and an upgraded Sleep Algorithm 2.0 for improved sleep data accuracy.
Activity tracking is enhanced with access to over 150 exercise modes, including a new cycling activity mode that provides more precise metrics for avid cyclists. The band can also evaluate fatigue levels during workouts.
The Smart Band 10 Pro features a 1.74-inch 2.5D curved AMOLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate, now offering peak brightness of 2,000 nits, an upgrade from the 1,200 nits of the Band 9 Pro.
The standard model is constructed with an aluminum alloy body, measuring 9.7mm thick and weighing just over 21 grams without the strap. A more premium ceramic version is also available, which adds a bit more weight.
Both versions come with a 5ATM waterproof rating, allowing users to track indoor swimming activities. The Smart Band 10 Pro runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3, with the Chinese version featuring NFC support and the ability to function as a car key. Battery life remains impressive, rated at up to 21 days, identical to its predecessor.
The Xiaomi Band 10 Pro starts at CNY 399 (approximately $59/€51), while the premium ceramic version retails for CNY 479 (around $70/€61). Xiaomi has not yet detailed plans for an international launch.
Xiaomi Clip-on Earbuds
In addition to the Smart Band 10 Pro, Xiaomi introduced its first clip-on style open earbuds. These earbuds feature 11mm drivers and are available in black, white, and gold. Each earbud weighs 5.5 grams and supports Xiaomi’s Xiao Ai voice assistant, offering on-device translation and voice recording functionalities.
The battery life for the earbuds is rated at 9 hours, with a total of 38 hours available when using the charging case. Similar to the Band 10 Pro, these clip-on earbuds are compatible with Apple devices and support Apple’s Find My network, along with an IP57 ingress protection rating.
Xiaomi Clip-on Earbuds
These earbuds are priced at CNY 799 (approximately $115/€101). Their international availability remains uncertain.
