Samsung has commenced testing the forthcoming One UI 9 on the Galaxy S26 FE, as reported by a reliable source on X. The initial build is identified as S741NKSU0AZE5, and the model number for the Korean Galaxy S26 FE is now confirmed as SM-S741N.
The testing of One UI 9 indicates that this device will launch with that version of Samsung's interface pre-installed. Consequently, the Galaxy S26 FE is unlikely to debut before the Galaxy Z Fold8 and Flip8, both of which are anticipated to introduce One UI 9 when they are announced on July 22.
Samsung Galaxy S25 FEThis development is not particularly surprising, given that the Galaxy S25 FE was unveiled in September of the previous year; however, this indirect confirmation is still valuable.
According to a Geekbench benchmark conducted in April, the S26 FE will be equipped with the Exynos 2500 SoC, marking an upgrade from its predecessor's Exynos 2400. The device will continue to feature 8GB of RAM, with no increase in memory capacity.
