Verizon has announced a significant "ticket drop" for the FIFA World Cup 2026, set to take place in June and July across the US, Canada, and Mexico. The company plans to distribute over 2,500 free tickets for all 64 matches in every US host city exclusively to its customers.
This initiative is part of Verizon's role as the Official Telecommunications Services Sponsor for the tournament. The company has partnered with David Beckham, who features in a new commercial emphasizing that Verizon provides the "Ultimate Access" to the FIFA World Cup, as highlighted in the official press release.
The ticket giveaway will begin on June 1 at 3 PM ET / 2 PM CT / 12 PM PT and will be available through Verizon Access in the My Verizon app. Additionally, fortunate winners will have the chance to win Golden Tickets, which grant them pitchside access during the games. Tickets will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis, and customers can only claim tickets for matches located within 150 miles of their home address, as travel and accommodation are not included.
Starting today, new Verizon Home Internet customers can enjoy three months of Fox One free, while Verizon myPlan customers can add Fox One for $15 per month, representing a nearly $5 savings compared to the standard rate. Fox One is the exclusive platform for viewing the FIFA World Cup in the US.
