Last year, it was reported that Honor's Robot Phone would begin mass production in the first half of 2026. Subsequently, rumors indicated a launch timeframe in Q3 2026. Those rumors have been validated, as Honor has officially confirmed that the Robot Phone will launch between July and September 2026.
This announcement was made during the Cannes China Night, where Honor showcased the Robot Phone's imaging capabilities to attendees. Furthermore, Honor reiterated that the Robot Phone, which is equipped with a 4DoF gimbal system, will be the first device to benefit from the partnership with ARRI announced in March.
Honor aims to establish the Robot Phone as the "next evolution of mobile filmmaking and AI hardware innovation." While many of its technical specifications and features remain undisclosed, Honor has promised to provide more information about the Robot Phone "very soon."
