Lexus and AT&T Collaborate to Enhance 5G Connectivity in Luxury Vehicles
As the automotive industry embraces the digital age, luxury car maker Lexus has teamed up with telecommunications giant AT&T to transform the way drivers experience connectivity. By integrating AT&T's robust 5G network into its vehicles, starting with the upcoming 2026 Lexus ES, the partnership aims to provide unparalleled network access and support for various connected services.
Unveiling the AT&T Partnership
Lexus vehicles are not only a hallmark of luxury but are now set to introduce improved network connectivity, thanks to a partnership with AT&T. The integration will bring seamless 5G connectivity to the Lexus lineup, beginning with the redesigned 2026 Lexus ES.
Enhanced Customer Experience
"With connected vehicles, great customer experiences start with strong, reliable connectivity. We are proud to work with Lexus to bring AT&T 5G network connectivity to the Lexus lineup, helping enable advanced in-vehicle experiences today while supporting the connected services of tomorrow," said Matt Harden, Vice President of AT&T Connected Solutions.
Multiple Device Connectivity
AT&T is set to offer support for up to five connected devices through its 5G network, ensuring passengers can stay connected. Access to this feature will be available via the Lexus app or AT&T’s connected car platform, making it easier than ever to enjoy seamless connectivity on the go.
Future Expansion Plans
The collaboration between AT&T and Lexus is not new, as they have a history of working on connected vehicle technologies. The latest announcement marks a significant step in extending 5G connectivity across the entire Lexus lineup, with plans to implement this feature in additional models in the future. This connectivity platform is designed not only to enhance current multimedia capabilities but also to support future connected vehicle services. Notably, AT&T had introduced similar 5G features in Toyota vehicles back in late 2025.
