Observing T-Mobile's enticing rewards—such as complimentary MLB.TV subscriptions valued at $150 and perks like Netflix, AAA memberships, and T-Mobile Tuesdays—it's easy to question the value of a Verizon subscription. Unfortunately, it seems unlikely that Verizon's forthcoming announcement will significantly narrow the "rewards gap" with T-Mobile.
Interestingly, this buzz comes on the heels of Verizon's recent $5 price hike for its Unlimited Ultimate plan. With such a change already implemented, it's doubtful that this will be the nature of the big reveal.
Understanding the Price Adjustments
You might wonder how a 3-year locked plan could see a price increase. The recent $5 hike affects new subscribers or those switching to the Unlimited Ultimate plan, leaving existing customers from last year's launch unaffected.
Potential Improvements for the Welcome Plan
