We have been monitoring the prices of the Google Pixel 10 phones over the last few weeks, and it is uncommon to see all four non-folding models receive substantial discounts simultaneously. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A37 has finally seen its first significant price reduction.
The Google Pixel 10 Pro XL is currently $300 off, bringing the price of the base model (with 256GB of storage) down to $900. The 512GB variant is priced just over $1,000. To assist you in making a choice between these two flagship models, we have prepared a comprehensive comparison article that evaluates the Pixel 10 Pro XL against the Galaxy S26 Ultra.

For the smaller Google Pixel 10 Pro, a detailed comparison with its XL counterpart is unnecessary, as they share the same hardware with the exception of the display (6.3” vs. 6.8”) and battery (4,870mAh vs. 5,200mAh). Both models offer similar battery life on a single charge (12:08h vs. 12:29h Active Use Score), which is relatively short. Additionally, our charging tests showed they require approximately one and a half hours for a complete charge.

However, a more in-depth discussion is warranted when comparing the Google Pixel 10 with the 10 Pro. This is the first standard model to feature a telephoto camera. As with past iterations, it utilizes the same chipset as the Pro models but does lack some other premium features.

As promised, the Samsung Galaxy A37 is now available at its first notable discount, with a $50 reduction applicable to both the 128GB and 256GB variants. Apart from the increased storage, the 256GB model also features 2GB extra RAM. After six years of support (the lifespan of the A37), you’ll likely wish you had opted for the 8GB version.

Importantly, the Galaxy A37 and Pixel 10a are closely priced. The A37 boasts a larger 6.7” display compared to the Pixel's 6.3”, but both offer 1080p OLED screens (non-LTPO). Notably, the Pixel features a larger battery at 5,100mAh versus 5,000mAh, resulting in longer endurance; the Active Use Scores being 15:13h for the Pixel compared to 13:49h for the Galaxy. Samsung’s more powerful 45W charger can bring the Galaxy's battery to 100% slightly quicker (1 hour 12 minutes) than Google's 30W charger (1 hour 29 minutes); however, the Pixel also supports 10W wireless charging. While the older Tensor G4 chip may not be flagship-caliber, it outperforms the Exynos 1480, particularly in GPU capabilities.

Presently, the Galaxy A57 should not be overly concerned about the A37, as the real competition comes from the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE. The prices for both 128GB models are equivalent; however, the S25 FE provides a more advanced chipset (Exynos 2400 versus Exynos 1680), faster storage (UFS 4.0 compared to 3.1), and added functionalities such as DeX support (USB 3.2) and an LTPO display, along with wireless charging (15W) and a dedicated 8MP telephoto camera (3x/75mm).

Regardless of which Pixel 10 model you select, you might want to consider acquiring a Pixelsnap case. This is Google’s branding for magnetic accessories. Made from silicone, the case provides a stronger magnetic attachment compared to non-magnetic alternatives.

Another accessory that pairs well with a Pixel 10 phone is the Google Pixel Watch 4, available in both Wi-Fi and LTE models. The LTE connectivity on your watch may not previously seem vital, but it becomes significant here as it introduces Satellite SOS capabilities. This can serve as a helpful backup if you misplace your Pixel 10 (which also features Satellite SOS, even the more affordable 10a) while out in the wilderness. Although the Pixel Watch 3 is less expensive, it lacks satellite connectivity and runs on an older chipset.
