iQOO is reportedly developing the new Neo12 for the Chinese market, with key specifications emerging through recent leaks. Although its launch is several months away, details about the device have begun to surface.
According to tipster Smart Pikachu on Weibo, the iQOO Neo12 is currently undergoing testing. The smartphone is expected to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC and may feature a stunning 2K resolution display.
iQOO Neo11The tipster also indicated that iQOO is evaluating both passive and active cooling solutions for the Neo12. This suggests the possibility of support for external cooling accessories or an integrated cooling fan.
For context, the iQOO Neo11 was launched in China in October of the previous year and lacked active cooling features. It was powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, showcased a 6.82-inch 8T LTPO AMOLED display, and boasted a robust 7,500mAh battery.
