DJI has officially launched the Osmo Mobile 8P smartphone gimbal, where the 'P' is believed to signify 'Pro,' although the company has opted not to use that terminology. A standout feature of this model is its detachable remote, which includes a touchscreen that mirrors your phone's display. The remote also features a joystick, providing users with enhanced flexibility to control the gimbal from a distance, ensuring precise framing of shots while utilizing the rear cameras of the phone.

The Osmo Mobile 8P integrates ActiveTrack 8.0, offering improved agility in subject tracking, ensuring you remain centered even in bustling environments. Additionally, by utilizing Apple DockKit, users can seamlessly connect their iPhone directly to the gimbal.

This gimbal is equipped with a 3-axis stabilization system, a built-in tripod, and a 215mm extension rod. The wider tripod design enhances stability during use. Weighing 386 grams, the Osmo Mobile 8P boasts a 10-hour battery life, powered by a 3,350 mAh battery, and includes the capability to charge your phone via USB-C. Its 360-degree Infinite Spin feature enables smooth captures from any angle through limitless horizontal rotation, and it also supports low-angle shots, perfect for capturing moments from a child's or pet's perspective.

The Osmo Mobile 8P is priced at €159 for the standard combo. For €189, you can add the DJI Multifunctional Module 2, which includes a fill light with eight brightness levels and functions as a specialized subject tracker with gesture control. At €219, the package also includes the DJI Mic Mini 2.
