A recent report from China indicates that Huawei is transitioning its Mate flagship series to utilize ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensors. These sensors are currently undergoing testing, and if successful, they will replace the side-mounted fingerprint sensors used in previous Mate models.

Additionally, it has been revealed that the Mate 90 Pro Max will feature two telephoto cameras similar to its predecessor. However, one of the cameras will now support 10x optical zoom, following a design similar to that of Oppo.
Furthermore, Huawei is reportedly considering the introduction of a 1-inch type sensor for the Mate 90 Pro Max's main camera, although a final decision on this aspect has yet to be made. The Mate 90 series is anticipated to launch in October, should the rumors prove accurate.
