Google has released the first Android 17 QPR1 beta following the rollout of the fourth beta of Android 17 last week. This update is compatible with Pixel 6 and later devices.
Before the stable release of Android 17, anticipated in September, users can explore upcoming enhancements through the Android 17 QPR1 Beta 1. Google assures that this beta build is stable enough for everyday use.

The update is accessible for devices ranging from the Pixel 6 to the latest Pixel 10a. Interested users can join the Android Beta Program to install the QPR1 update. Although this release does not introduce significant new features, Google has detailed several bug fixes in the official changelog.
Importantly, users currently on the Android 17 beta can choose to opt out by skipping the QPR1 beta while returning to the stable channel without data loss.
