Following the recent launch of the Y6t, Vivo has officially introduced the Y6 5G. This smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, similar to the Y6t. The Y6 5G is available in silver, gold, and black and has dimensions of 166.64 x 78.43 x 8.39 mm, weighing 219 grams.

The device features a 6.75-inch LCD display with a resolution of 720x1570, offering a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. Its camera setup includes a 50MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera, complemented by an impressive 7,200 mAh battery that supports 44W wired charging.

The Y6 5G supports 5G connectivity and includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button. It also features an IR blaster and operates on Android 16 with OriginOS 6 on top. The smartphone is certified with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance and has undergone drop testing from heights of up to 1.7 meters.

The pricing for the Y6 5G starts at CNY 1,799 ($263) for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, CNY 1,999 ($292) for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage option, and CNY 2,199 ($322) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version. It remains uncertain whether this device will be available outside of China.
