In conjunction with the launch of the K90 Max smartphone, Redmi has unveiled the K Pad 2 tablet, a high-performance mini tablet that builds upon its predecessor.
Powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 9500, the K Pad 2 offers configurations of 8GB, 12GB, or 16GB of RAM, alongside 256GB or 512GB of storage. The tablet features an 8.8-inch LCD display with a resolution of 3008x1880, an impressive 165Hz refresh rate, 1,100-nit peak brightness, and protective Gorilla Glass 5.

The rear camera boasts a 13MP sensor, while the front includes an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls. The K Pad 2 is equipped with a robust 9,100 mAh battery that supports 67W wired charging as well as 22.5W reverse wired charging. It operates on Xiaomi's HyperOS 3.

The K Pad 2 is available in three variants: CNY 3,399 ($498) for the model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, CNY 3,799 ($557) for the 12GB RAM version with 256GB storage, and CNY 4,799 ($703) for the top-tier model offering 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The tablet comes in three color options: Deep Black, Space Silver, and Electric Violet.
