While these models share many similarities, the main distinguishing factor is their battery capacity, catering to different user preferences.
The Redmi R70 boasts a vibrant 6.9-inch LCD display with a resolution of 720x1600, enhanced by a 120Hz refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. The device is powered by the Unisoc T8300 chipset, paired with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage technology. Photography enthusiasts can enjoy a 13MP rear camera alongside an 8MP front-facing camera. The standout feature is its impressive 6,000 mAh battery, supporting 15W wired charging and 7.5W reverse charging capabilities.

In contrast, the R70m features a slightly smaller 6,300 mAh battery without compromising any other specifications. Both models have similar camera setups and capabilities. For those interested in the R70, it comes in four RAM/storage configurations: 4/128GB, 6/128GB, 6/256GB, and 8/256GB, with the pricing starting at CNY 1,599 (approximately $234).
The R70m offers slightly different RAM/storage options, available in 6/128GB, 6/256GB, 8/256GB, and 12/256GB variants, with a starting price of CNY 1,799 (around $263). Users can choose from four color options: black, white, blue, and purple. At this point, it remains uncertain whether these models will be available for purchase outside of China.
