Massive Discounts on Foldables, Google Pixel 10 Phones, and Galaxy S25 FE

This week, we discovered significant discounts on foldable phones, with savings of up to $500. For those who prefer traditional phones, there are plenty of options available as well.

The Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold is currently available for $300 off, making it more affordable than the Samsung foldable at similar storage levels. While its performance is slightly lower (Tensor G5 vs. Snapdragon 8 Elite), it boasts more RAM than most configurations of the Z Fold7 (only the 1TB model features 16GB of RAM).

The main 48MP camera on the Pixel 10 Pro Fold has a somewhat small 1/2.0” sensor, which seems inadequate compared to the Galaxy’s 200MP 1/1.3” sensor. However, its 10.8MP 5x/112mm periscope (versus 10MP 3x/60mm) and 10.5MP 127° ultra-wide (versus 12MP 120°) cameras are quite comparable. The selfie cameras feature dual 10MP sensors on each device.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 has a more substantial discount of $400 but comes with a higher base price. Consequently, its 12/256GB model nearly parallels the cost of a 16/512GB Pixel foldable. Nevertheless, the extra performance and established DeX multitasking capabilities, along with the option to use an S Pen (sold separately), may attract some buyers.

Google has yet to release a flip model, while Samsung is now on its 6th generation (considering the Z Flip 5G as a distinct iteration). The Galaxy Z Flip7 is powered by an Exynos 2500 and features a 4,300mAh battery that provides a solid Active Use Score of 11:52. The 50MP main camera has a 1/1.57” sensor, similar to the S25 and S25+, along with a 12MP ultra-wide lens (notably lacking a telephoto lens). This generation also allows DeX to be used on external displays, no longer restricting it to the Z Fold.

The Motorola Razr Ultra 2025 is priced lower than the Samsung clamshell, offering a 16/512GB model for $100 less than the Z Flip7's 12/256GB model. Featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite, it performs similarly to the Exynos in benchmarks.

Moreover, the Razr's larger 4,700mAh battery lasts significantly longer (15:10h vs. 11:52h) and charges faster with its 68W wired and 30W wireless charging capabilities (compared to 25W/15W). It only takes 45 minutes for a full charge, while the Samsung requires twice as long. The Razr Ultra 2025 is equipped with a 50MP 1/1.56” main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP selfie camera.

As promised, here are some bar phones. The Google Pixel 10 can be purchased for $650, though we suggest spending an additional $50 for double the storage. This model utilizes the same Tensor G5 and a 6.3” display as the Pixel 10 Pro (albeit with a lower resolution and a non-LTPO panel).

The Pixel 10 combines a 48MP 1/2.0” main camera with a 13MP ultra-wide and, for the first time on a standard Pixel, a dedicated telephoto lens—a 10.8MP 5x/112mm module. The 4,970mAh battery has a disappointing Active Use Score of 12:08h, given its size, and supports 30W wired as well as 15W wireless charging.

The Nothing Phone (3) is priced similarly, featuring a larger 6.67” display and the more powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. It boasts a 5,150mAh battery that offers a slightly longer endurance of 12:56h, alongside faster 65W wired and 15W wireless charging (1 hour to full compared to 1:32 for the Pixel).

The Nothing Phone (3) includes a 50MP main camera with a large 1/1.3” sensor, a 50MP 3x periscope, and a 50MP ultra-wide, as well as a 50MP selfie camera.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE is available for $200 less than the Pixel 10. It features a larger 6.7” display and a 4,900mAh battery with nearly identical endurance (11:57h). The FE includes a 50MP main sensor (1/1.57”), an 8MP 3x/75mm telephoto, and a 12MP ultra-wide camera.

Additionally, consider the more capable Pixel Pro models, despite their higher cost. The Google Pixel 10 Pro XL features a substantial $300 discount, making its price more attractive. It showcases a large 6.8” LTPO display and a 5,200mAh battery that achieved a 12:29h Active Use Score.

The Pro XL offers superior camera capabilities compared to the standard model, including a 50MP 1/1.31” main sensor, a 48MP 5x/113mm periscope, and a 48MP ultra-wide, along with a 42MP selfie camera featuring an ultra-wide lens.

Unfortunately, the smaller Google Pixel 10 Pro did not receive an appropriate discount, maintaining a price close to that of the typically pricier Pro XL. It features a 6.3” display (1280p+ LTPO compared to 1080p+ LTPS on the basic Pixel 10) and a 4,870mAh battery (12:06h). The camera specifications mirror those of the Pro XL.
