A new Poco smartphone, the C81 Pro, is set to debut, as confirmed by recent certification from Thailand's NBTC. The device, identified by model number 25128PC17G, will notably lack 5G support. This, along with its classification in Poco's entry-level C-series, suggests that it will be a budget-friendly smartphone.
The Poco C81 Pro was previously certified in January by SDPPI in Indonesia, where it was initially identified simply as the Poco C81. However, it has since acquired the 'Pro' designation, indicating it is the same device. Additionally, it might be marketed in some regions as the Redmi A7 Pro.
If the rebranding holds true, the Poco C81 Pro is expected to feature a 6.9-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by the Unisoc T7250 SoC. It will likely come with 4GB of RAM and offer storage options of 64GB or 128GB. The device is anticipated to have a 50MP rear camera and a 13MP front camera. Furthermore, it may include a 6,000 mAh battery with 15W wired charging support. One downside is that it could launch with Android 15, despite Android 16 being available since June.
