This innovative program allows both consumers and authorities to experience Tesla's Full Self-Driving feature in real-world traffic conditions, with a Tesla staff member seated in the driver's position.

In the Netherlands, the ride-alongs will commence on February 16 and run through March 31. Residents of Groningen, Zwolle (Wezep), Arnhem (Duiven), Amsterdam, Utrecht, Den Haag, Rotterdam, Eindhoven, and Tilburg will be among the first to experience Tesla’s advanced self-driving system, with Purmerend set to join on March 16.

Tesla is actively working to secure EU approval to enable FSD on European models. The Supervised ride-along program is part of Tesla's strategy to build trust with regulators regarding its Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

Moreover, Tesla is not alone in this endeavor; the EU continues to evaluate frameworks for advanced driver-assistance technology. While Tesla aims to be the first to gain regulatory approval, the timeline for such clearance remains uncertain.
