In a significant leak today, we received the complete specifications for the upcoming Galaxy S26 family, consisting of the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra. As hinted at through Samsung's teasers, the primary focus this year appears to be on AI advancements, as the hardware specifications have not drastically changed from the Galaxy S25 family.
The Galaxy S26 and S26+ are expected to be equipped with the Exynos 2600 SoC in Europe, while the S26 Ultra will utilize the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy, featuring slightly overclocked Prime CPU cores. The S26 and S26+ will come with 12GB of RAM, whereas the Ultra model can be configured with up to 16GB, but only with the 1TB storage option. The S26 will also start with a base storage of 256GB. All devices will sport displays of identical size and resolution to the S25 series, protected by Gorilla Armor 2.
The only enhancement in battery capacity will be seen in the S26, which boasts an additional 300 mAh compared to its predecessor. The other two models will retain their previous capacities, but the Ultra will support wired charging up to 60W. Importantly, none of the models will feature built-in magnets for Qi2 wireless charging.
All three variants share a 12MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture and PDAF. The S26 and S26+ have an identical rear camera setup, which includes a 50MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture utilizing a 1/1.56” sensor, a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and f/2.4 aperture, and a 12MP ultrawide camera with f/2.2 aperture but no autofocus.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra showcases a 200MP main camera with an f/1.4 aperture, the same 10MP 3x telephoto lens as its counterparts, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera offering 5x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide camera with f/1.9 aperture and autofocus. A comprehensive table of specifications is provided below. The pricing in the EU is expected to commence at €999 for the S26, €1,269 for the S26+, and €1,469 for the S26 Ultra.
