The vivo Y21, originally launched in 2021, is being succeeded by the upcoming Y21 5G. While it may seem unusual for vivo to reuse this name considering the plethora of available options, it is clear that the brand is committed to this model.

The Y21 5G is expected to feature a 6,355 mAh rated battery in India and Malaysia, with a slightly smaller 5,090 mAh rated battery for other regions. These capacities are likely to be marketed as a typical 6,500 mAh and 5,250 mAh, respectively.
