Xiaomi launched the Pad 8 Pro in China last September. If you've been wondering about its global release, we have exciting news.
The international version of the tablet has appeared in the Geekbench database, identified by the model number 25091RP04G. The 'G' at the end indicates that this model is intended for markets outside of China.
As shown in the screenshot above, the tablet achieved a single-core score of 2,940 and a multi-core score of 8,759 in Geekbench 6.5. Like its Chinese counterpart, it is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The benchmark prototype featured 8GB of RAM, which is the standard configuration in China, with options going up to 16GB.
It remains uncertain whether the international Pad 8 Pro will be entirely the same as the Chinese variant. However, if it is, we can expect features such as an 11.2" IPS LCD screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and 800-nit peak brightness, up to 512GB of storage, a 50MP rear camera, a 32MP front camera, and a 9,200 mAh battery with support for 67W wired charging. The tablet will run Android 16 with HyperOS 3 overlay.
The most likely event for its introduction is alongside the global launch of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. Historically, this announcement occurs in Barcelona, Spain, just a day or two before MWC begins on March 2.
