A recent leak from the HyperOS 3 code has unveiled anticipated battery capacities and charging specifications for the upcoming Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max.
The Poco X8 Pro is rumored to feature a 6,500 mAh battery, while the Poco X8 Pro Max is expected to include an impressive 8,500 mAh battery. Both models are set to support rapid 100W wired charging.
Redmi Turbo 5 MaxIt is speculated that the Poco X8 Pro may be a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 5, while the Poco X8 Pro Max could be based on the Redmi Turbo 5 Max. Although both Poco devices will have significantly smaller batteries than their Redmi counterparts, the X8 Pro Max will still mark the largest battery capacity ever seen in a Poco device.
If the Poco X8 series follows the design of the aforementioned Redmis, we can anticipate that the X8 Pro will come equipped with a 6.59-inch AMOLED display boasting a resolution of 1268x2756, a 120Hz refresh rate, 3,840Hz PWM, and a peak brightness of 3,500 nits. It is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 SoC, paired with options for 12 or 16GB of RAM and 256 or 512GB of internal storage. Additionally, it will feature a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 20MP front-facing camera.
On the other hand, the X8 Pro Max is anticipated to showcase a larger 6.83-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1280x2772, retaining the same 120Hz refresh rate, 3,840Hz PWM, and peak brightness of 3,500 nits. It will utilize the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s SoC and will offer the same RAM, storage capacities, and camera configurations as the X8 Pro.
