vivo recently launched the X200T and is now teasing the upcoming release of two new V Series smartphones: the vivo V70 and V70 Elite.
While vivo has yet to announce the official launch date for the V70 and V70 Elite, the brand has established a promo page on its official Indian website, which reveals key specifications and the design of what is likely the V70 Elite. Notably, vivo has disclosed the chipsets that will power these two smartphones: the V70 Elite will feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, while the V70 will be equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC.
The V70 series will include LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, with an 8GB RAM + 256GB storage option available for the Elite version. Both devices will run on Android 16-based OriginOS 6 and will receive four operating system upgrades along with six years of security updates.
The display of the V70 lineup will be a 6.59-inch "1.5K Ultra Clear OLED Display" capable of achieving a peak brightness of 5,000 nits, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and HDR support. Additionally, it will feature a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner that incorporates "3D Anti-spoofing technology" and supports wet touch. The centered punch-hole will house a 50MP selfie camera co-developed with ZEISS.

On the rear, the smartphones will boast a three-camera system co-developed with ZEISS, featuring a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP "Night Telephoto" camera, and an ultrawide camera rumored to have an 8MP resolution.

The V70 lineup will support 4K video recording at 60fps and 4K HDR, along with various AI-powered photography features, including AI Petal Shower Portrait, AI Magic Weather, and the India-exclusive AI Holi Portrait, which will be available from February 19 to March 15, 2026. Additionally, vivo is promoting an AI Audio Noise Eraser with the V70 series.
Confirmed features for the V70 lineup include a robust 6,500 mAh battery with 90W charging and multi-scenario bypass charging support. The devices will also have IP68 and IP69 ratings, a durable metal frame, and an X-Axis Linear Motor in the V70 Elite*

With the AI Holi Portrait feature in focus, we anticipate the V70 and V70 Elite will be officially unveiled between February 16 and February 19, 2026. Both smartphones are expected to be priced under INR 50,000.
