Realme has unveiled its latest smartphone, the Realme P4 Power, which features an impressive 10,001mAh battery. This device promises exceptional endurance and longevity, launching less than a year after the company showcased a prototype with a similar battery capacity.

The Realme P4 Power incorporates next-generation Silicon-Carbon battery technology, ensuring that it retains at least 80% of its original capacity even after eight years of usage, and is rated for up to 1,650 charge cycles.

With a full charge, users can enjoy nearly 12 hours of uninterrupted gameplay on BGMI or watch YouTube videos for over 32 hours. Additionally, navigation can be used for over 21 hours, while recording 4K video can last up to 12 hours, all starting from 100% charge. Even with just 5% of the battery left, users can make voice calls for nearly 4 hours or use SatNav for over an hour.

This impressive battery performance leads Realme to guarantee eight years of use, as the P4 Power requires significantly less frequent charging compared to typical smartphones. The company estimates that an average user will complete 392 fewer charge cycles after four years than they would with an average phone. Furthermore, the new Si-C battery can endure an additional 150-200 charge cycles compared to conventional batteries.

However, the software support may be a drawback. The P4 Power launches with Android 16 and Realme UI 7.0, receiving three years of OS updates and an additional year of security patches. While the battery may remain in excellent condition, the Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset may not hold up as well in eight years.

Turning back to the impressive battery technology, the Realme P4 Power supports 80W fast charging. Though this may seem modest compared to the Realme GT Neo 5's 240W charging capabilities, it is surprisingly efficient, reaching 50% charge in just 36 minutes. Note that while 80W charging is available with SuperVOOC chargers, USB PD PPS chargers are limited to 55W.

Additionally, the P4 Power features 27W reverse charging support, allowing it to charge an iPhone 16 Pro (3,582mAh) to 50% in only 27 minutes. Impressive for a smartphone, which can essentially double as a power bank.

Despite its impressive battery, Realme has managed to design the P4 Power within a sleek 9.08mm chassis. At 219g, it weighs only 11g more than the Realme P4x, which has a 7,000mAh battery and measures 8.4mm in thickness.

This device is also built to endure tough conditions. Its battery can function in temperatures ranging from -30°C to 56°C, a notable feat since lithium batteries typically struggle in cold environments. Furthermore, it is resistant to flat compression and has successfully passed drop tests from a height of 1 meter. The phone also boasts an IP66, IP68, and IP69 rating, having been tested in water depths of up to 2 meters, as well as in extreme temperatures of both hot (85°C) and cold (0°C) water.

The P4 Power does share similarities with the regular Realme P4, featuring a 6.8” display with a 144Hz refresh rate. This quad-curved panel boasts a resolution of 1,280 x 2,800 pixels and can reach a brightness of up to 6,500 nits.

On the rear, the phone sports a 50MP main camera utilizing the Sony IMX882 sensor, paired with an f/1.8 lens featuring OIS capabilities. It can capture 4K video at 30fps and includes a Night Portrait Bokeh mode. Additionally, there is an 8MP ultra-wide camera (112°) and a 16MP selfie camera (85°).

The smartphone is powered by the Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset, complemented by a 4,613mm² vapor chamber and an extra-large 13,743mm² graphite sheet for efficient cooling.

The Realme P4 Power will be available in two colors: Flash Orange and Power Silver. Both versions feature a two-part back design, with a matte lower section housing the battery and a transparent upper portion that reveals elements such as the NFC coil.
