Nothing Phone (4a) Receives Certification, Launch Imminent

Source: Date:

The Nothing Phone (3a) and (3a) Pro were launched in March, indicating that their successors are likely just weeks away. The Nothing Phone (4a) Pro was first identified in an IMEI listing back in September. A subsequent leak in December provided insights on both upcoming models, and earlier this month, Nothing confirmed a storage upgrade for at least one variant, potentially accompanied by a price increase.

Recently, the Nothing Phone (4a) has reportedly received certification from the TDRA in the UAE, carrying the model number A069. For reference, the IMEI listing for the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro assigned it the model number A069P (the 'P' designates Pro, aligning with expectations).

Nothing Phone (4a) gets certified ahead of launch

While the TDRA certification did not disclose any specific features of the Nothing Phone (4a), its certification suggests that a launch is forthcoming. We will keep you informed as more details emerge.

In the meantime, regarding what to anticipate from these mid-range models aside from the expected price increase, the Pro variant is said to support eSIM functionality. Both models are expected to be powered by Snapdragon 7 series chipsets, though the exact specifications have yet to be revealed. One or both devices will be available in blue, pink, white, and black, and at least one will feature UFS 3.1 storage.
