Just days before its official launch, the Realme Neo8 has had several details confirmed by the company. Set to launch on January 22 in China, the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC.
Through a series of posts on Weibo, Realme confirmed that the Neo8 will feature an impressive 8,000mAh battery, boasting an increase of 1,000mAh compared to the Neo7.

In addition to its robust battery, the Neo8 will be IP66/IP68/IP69 rated and equipped with a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
Its display will utilize a Samsung M14 OLED panel with a 165Hz refresh rate, protected by Crystal Armor glass.

The Neo8 will also feature an X-axis linear motor, super-linear stereo speakers, an infrared sensor, multi-angle NFC, and dual-frequency GPS. It will ship with Realme UI 7.0 and is confirmed to receive three years of OS updates.
Consumers can choose from three color options: Cyber Purple, Mecha Grey, and Origin White. The phone will also include a triple rear camera setup, capable of up to 120x digital zoom support, complemented by an LED light strip.
