The long-awaited Redmi Note 15 series has officially launched in Europe after debuting in China and India. The global rollout commenced in mid-December, and now five distinct models are available, including 4G versions of both the Pro and standard variants (the Pro+ remains exclusively 5G).
This generation is marked by "Redmi Titan Durability," which features the introduction of SiC batteries within the Redmi Note line. The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ and Pro both offer substantial 6,500mAh batteries with 10% SiC content, supporting 100W HyperCharge and 22.5W reverse charging capabilities. All Pro models are equipped with a Xiaomi Surge battery chip, ensuring that at least 80% of their original capacity is maintained after 1,600 charge cycles—equivalent to around six years of regular usage.
Redmi Note 15 Pro+ Highlights
The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ and Pro showcase cutting-edge 200MP HPE sensors (1/1.4”), featuring 2x and 4x in-sensor zoom, DAG HDR technology, and advanced AI processing. Both models include 6.83” OLED displays and are powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 and Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipsets, respectively.
Redmi Note 15 Pro Highlights
As part of their sturdy design, these models include reinforced mid-frames, multi-layer shock absorption, Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and high-strength motherboards. They have demonstrated durability in tests from drops of up to 2.5 meters (did you see the live durability test?). Additionally, the Pro+ features a fiberglass back panel to enhance impact resistance and boasts superior water protection with IP66 (splash-proof), IP68 (submersion up to 2 meters for 24 hours), and IP69/K (resistant to hot and cold water jets) ratings.
Redmi Note 15 Highlights
The standard Redmi Note 15 stands out as the slimmest model in the series, measuring just 7.35mm in thickness while housing a 5,520mAh SiC battery. In contrast, the LTE version, Redmi Note 15 4G, is somewhat thicker at 7.9mm but incorporates a larger 6,000mAh battery. The two devices are powered by Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 and Helio G100 Ultra chipsets respectively, and each features 108MP cameras with 3x in-sensor zoom capabilities.
Redmi Note 15 4G Highlights
The Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G is equipped with a 200MP camera utilizing an older sensor. It has a slightly smaller 6.77” display, shared with the Note 15 and Note 15 4G models. While it may not be as rugged as the Pro+ and Pro 5G, these three models still boast improved dust and water resistance.
