Redmi Note 15 Series Launches in Europe: Pricing and Features Revealed

Source: Date:

After a considerable wait, the Redmi Note 15 series has officially launched in Europe, following its debut in China and subsequent release in India. Originally announced in mid-December, the global rollout features five models, maintaining Xiaomi’s approach of offering both 4G and 5G options—the Pro+ is exclusive to 5G.

This generation emphasizes "Redmi Titan Durability." Notably, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ and 15 Pro are equipped with the first SiC batteries in the Redmi Note lineup, boasting 6,500mAh capacity and 10% SiC content. They support 100W HyperCharge and 22.5W reverse charging. Additionally, all Pro models, including the 4G variant, integrate a Xiaomi Surge battery chip, ensuring that the battery retains at least 80% of its original capacity after 1,600 charge cycles—equating to roughly six years of average use.

The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ and the Redmi Note 15 Pro introduce new 200MP HPE sensors (1/1.4”). They feature advanced 2x and 4x in-sensor zoom, DAG HDR capabilities, and sophisticated AI processing. Both models are equipped with 6.83” OLED displays, powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 and Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipsets, respectively.

As part of their "Titan Durability" design, these devices include reinforced mid-frames, multi-layer shock absorption, Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and robust motherboards, validated through drop tests from heights of up to 2.5 meters (check out the live durability test). The Pro+ also integrates a fiberglass back panel for enhanced impact resistance and boasts high water resistance ratings: IP66 for splash protection, IP68 for submersion (up to 2 meters for up to 24 hours), IP69, and IP69K for high-temperature water jets.

The Redmi Note 15 is the thinnest model in the series, measuring just 7.35mm thick and housing a 5,520mAh SiC battery. Its LTE counterpart, the Redmi Note 15 4G, is slightly thicker at 7.9mm but packs a 6,000mAh battery. These two models utilize the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 and Helio G100 Ultra chipsets, respectively, and both feature a 108MP camera with 3x in-sensor zoom.

The Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G incorporates a 200MP camera, albeit with a slightly older sensor. It has a smaller 6.77" display, shared with the Note 15 and Note 15 4G models. While not as robust as the Pro+ and Pro 5G, these models also include improved dust and water resistance.
