Samsung is set to unveil its latest device, the Galaxy M36, as it recently appeared in the Geekbench online database with impressive specifications. This benchmark leak provides an early look at the smartphone's performance capabilities, including its chipset, memory, and operating system, making tech enthusiasts eager for its release.
The device, identified by the model number SM-M366B, is the global edition. It features the Exynos 1380 SoC and runs on 6GB of RAM. Furthermore, the Galaxy M36 is confirmed to launch with Android 15 and One UI 7 right out of the box.
While additional specifications remain under wraps, we can draw parallels with last year's Galaxy M35, which bore similarities to the Galaxy A35. The M35 boasted a larger 6,000 mAh battery and included a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Given that the already available Galaxy A36 utilizes a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, the differences between the two models could be notable this year.
Should Samsung maintain the design ethos of its predecessors, the M36 might come equipped with a 6.7-inch 1080x2340 Super AMOLED display featuring a 120 Hz refresh rate and a stunning 1,900-nit peak brightness. Potential storage options could include up to 12GB of RAM and 128/256GB of internal memory, complemented by a photography suite consisting of a 50 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultrawide lens, a 5 MP macro shooter, and a 12 MP selfie camera.
